Hugh Mosley received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Duke
University. He is a senior researcher in the Labour Market and Employment
research unit at the Social Science Research Centre Berlin (WZB), where he has
worked since 1986. He has done comparative and interdisciplinary research on a
wide range of labour market policy topics. His most recent work has been on
implementation issues, especially public employment service reforms, and on
working time issues and labor market regulation. He is the author of numerous
articles and reports on these and other topics and has frequently worked as a
consultant to the European Commission.
