Jacqueline O'Reilly has accepted a call at the University of Sussex. Since October 2004, she has been working there as a Reader in Sociology.

Jacqueline O'Reilly (PhD. Oxbridge) born in 1964 is Senior Research Fellow at the WZB and acting co-ordinator of the TRANSLAM project with Professor Günther Schmid. She edited the 'International Handbook for Labour Market Policy and Evaluation' (Edward Elgar) with Professor Günther Schmid and Dr. Klaus Schömann (1996), and published an edited volume 'Part-time Prospects' (Routledge) in 1998 with Dr. Colette Fagan (Manchester University). Two books coming out of the TSER project are ‚Working Time Changes' edited with Prof. Inmaculda Cebrian and Prof. Michel Lallement and ‚Time Rules' She is currently working on a new book 'Changing Welfare and Work: Revising the Social and Gender Contract in Europe' (Oxford University Press) during her stay as Jean Monnet Research Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.
