Florian Morath joined the research unit Market Processes and Governance in April 2006. He studied Business Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe and at the University of Lausanne.

Since October 2009 he is an associated research fellow at the research project "The Future of Fiscal Federalism".

He joined the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law as a research fellow in October 2009 and is an associated research fellow at the research project "The Future of Fiscal Federalism".

Research interests: Public finance, theory of contests, uncertainty and information
