  Focus of Research

Local governments play a critical, but underexplored, role in the governance of climate change. This research project will compare how transnational networks affect the capacity of local governments to address climate change in Germany and the UK. It will assess the extent to which policy diffusion and policy learning through these networks take place between local governments in these countries, hence leading to policy convergence across national borders
